MIGRAINE HEADACHES
The Facts
One in six people suffer from headaches and one in nine people have regular migraine headaches.
Medical treatment involves rest, avoiding bright lights, and taking some type of medication. The two most common medications prescribed are Imitrex and Topomax.
Medical treatment for migraines and other headaches is geared towards eliminating the symptom and not finding the true cause of the problem. When a cause is not addressed, a condition becomes more chronic and more difficult to treat.
In addition, all drugs have side effects. Topomax has been linked to kidney stone formation.
The Good News
Dr.Mark Fleming's headache treatment protocol is backed by research performed at Macquire University in Australia. The Australian study by Dr. Peter Tuchin demonstrated a positive improvement in seventy-two percent of migraine sufferers in the trial study.
There were no side effects from the treatment.
The average length of time that the patients had been diagnosed with migraine headaches was eighteen years.
The treatment used in the study is the same treatment that Dr. Mark Fleming uses in his migraine headache treatment protocol; chiropractic adjustments to the upper back and neck.
